What are the responsibilities and job description for the Park Attendant position at Onslow County?
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with afternoon and evening hours. This position comes with medical, dental, vision and supplemental benefits, leave, 401K and State Retirement Benefits.
Performs semiskilled work maintaining parks and play areas, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Park Operations Supervisor.

- Maintains a safe, comfortable, and clean environment in park facilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Ensures accessibility, safety, and security of park facilities and grounds.
- Assists maintenance personnel with repair and maintenance of park equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Verifies park facility reservations.
- Prepares ball fields for use.
- Performs assigned functions as a Disaster Ready Team (DRT) member, if appointed or volunteer.
- Performs related tasks as required.

Salary will be determined by candidate's qualifications, budget, market, and internal equity.
