Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our laboratory team. The CLS will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CLS license and demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood bank.
• Analyze laboratory results and ensure accuracy before reporting findings.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow established laboratory protocols, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory tests and results.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory policies.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License (required).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Certification from a recognized laboratory organization (if applicable).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
