Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our laboratory team. The CLS will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CLS license and demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood bank.
- Analyze laboratory results and ensure accuracy before reporting findings.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Follow established laboratory protocols, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of laboratory tests and results.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory policies.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License (required).
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Certification from a recognized laboratory organization (if applicable).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
