Come join our team to practice high quality, accessible veterinary medicine! No wellness care provided - all the fulfillment of emergency medicine without the overnight hours. Full-time is three 12-hour shifts per week with paid time off, 401k matching, health insurance coverage, CE reimbursement, holiday pay, and more!
Veterinary Nurses are responsible for triage/patient intake, client communication, collection of biological samples, obtaining diagnostic radiographs, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases, administration of medications, assisting with anesthesia and sedated procedures as needed, and maintaining patient electronic medical records
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience as a trained veterinary nurse/technician
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Proficient in phlebotomy and lab sample processing
- Positive attitude and love for patient care
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work rotating schedule to include rotating weekends
- Proficiency in low-stress patient handling
- Night/weekend availability
