The Esports Arena Work Study provides general support to students and coaches in the Esports Arena.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting students on the Esports teams in a friendly, courteous, welcoming manner.
Updating and cleaning gaming computers.
Making sure that game files are downloaded prior to competitions.
Answering the phone and taking messages.
Assisting students in signing in and out of computers, if needed.
Maintaining a calm and clean arena.
Directing new candidates for Esports to the application.
Performing related work as required.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous knowledge of Senet control system.
Experience in computer service and maintenance.
Must enjoy working with diverse populations and have good communications skills.
Gaming experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Job Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or in the U.S. for other than a temporary purpose with the intention of becoming a permanent resident (Eligible Non-Citizen).
Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress for Federal Financial Aid.
Must have a valid FAFSA on file
Attending at least half-time (6 credit hours)
Maintain satisfactory progress (SAP) towards the completion of their program
Additional Information:
Pay Rate : Starting rate of $15.50 for new Federal Work Studies.
Starting rate of $16.75 for returning Federal Work Studies
Hours of Operations: This position is temporary and part-time (typically between 5-15 hours per week).
