The Coordinator of the Onondaga Community College Campus Card Program will oversee all aspects of the Campus Card program (Lazer Card) and Campus Card System (CSGOLD, GET, U Gryd, Simphony 2x POS, Enterprise Management Console, Oracle Reporting & Analytics, TruCredential) including but not limited to strategic planning, program policies and procedures, production, customer service, technical applications and program development and enhancement.
POSITION FUNCTION
The Coordinator of the Onondaga Community College Campus Card Program will oversee all aspects of the Campus Card program (Lazer Card) and Campus Card System (CSGOLD, GET, U Gryd, Simphony 2x POS, Enterprise Management Console, Oracle Reporting & Analytics, TruCredential) including but not limited to strategic planning, program policies and procedures, production, customer service, technical applications and program development and enhancement.
POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES
Responsible for all aspects of the Campus Card Program (Lazer Card) and Campus Card System (CBORD - CSGOLD).
Support, maintain and develop high quality systems and processes for the Campus Card program.
Monitor Campus Card System availability and performance and provide troubleshooting/ resolution support for the Campus Card System.
Work collaboratively with all third-party vendors associated with the Campus Card System to maintain the system and ensure the functionality necessary to provide a high level of service for the users of the system.
Work collaboratively with IT to maintain and enhance the Campus Card System, especially in the areas of scheduling and performance of installations, upgrades, configuration changes, report generation, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support for all card related hardware including card printers, iPads, cameras, card readers, access readers, vending machine readers, food service pos terminals and credit card readers, and ID card related supplies. Manage card design and updates utilizing TruCredential.
Create and manage building door schedules for daily use, holidays, and campus events.
In collaboration with ITS personnel, replace and format faulty access control panels.
Manage door access for residence hall students, staff and academic programs.
Develop, administer, and maintain the Campus Card System and Program office budget, including all staff allocations, supplies, equipment and training necessary.
Assist with the financial reconciliations of all accounts associated with the Campus Card System and assist with the preparation for financial audits when necessary.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Lazer Card office, which includes the training, monitoring, and supervising of Student Central staff, including student workers on the Campus Card System.
Develop and maintain Lazer Card Program office procedures and policies as well as all necessary application system documentation.
Ensure the Student Central office maintains a high standard of professional, courteous and efficient customer service and provide professional communications with all parties as it relates to the Campus Card System.
Responsible for meal plan and stored value credit implementation within CS Gold and maintenance of patron plan usage and coordinating the data with our on-site food vendor.
Administer current and future stored value & credit plans, meal plans, building/room access control, off campus program and other card functions as necessary.
Work collaboratively with other offices on campus for student tracking to ensure the system is functioning appropriately and data is being recorded as necessary to ensure excellent customer service for our students.
Administer and maintain the integrity and accuracy of the data associated with ID production and information storage.
May require weeknights and weekends, as system issues arise, in which being accessible is required.
Develop and continuously evaluate long and short-term goals.
Other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college. university or foreign equivalency in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
Ability to perform complex data reconciliations by extracting, analyzing, and comparing data from multiple sources.
Experience with planning, installing, maintaining and development of computer/system operations
Broad technology experience dealing with planning, installing, and maintaining multiple pieces of equipment.
Excellent customer service skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an academic environment.
Knowledge of CBORD products
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. English and other languages will be considered.
Additional Information:
Salary range is: $44,000 - $55,000, commensurate with credentials and relevant experience.
