What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse Substitute position at Onondaga Central School District?
Welcome! The Onondaga Central School District is located south of Syracuse in upstate New York nestled in a valley with rural surroundings. The district provides a tranquil environment in a picturesque setting, yet enjoys all the major cultural advantages of an urban area within a 20 minute drive. A staff of 185 full and part-time employees, three academic buildings, preschool, a transportation center, and administrative offices commonly serve an enrollment of approximately 735 students, Pre-Kindergarten to twelfth grade.
Please note: Immediate need for certified substitute teachers ($145/day) and substitute teaching assistants ($120/day).
School Nurse Substitute Responsible for building medical needs. Called on an as needed basis. Must be RN. Complete both the Civil Service Application and the Supplemental Application. Include copy of nursing license.
Fingerprint clearance is also a requirement.
