What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nurse – (Substitute) position at CiTi BOCES?
The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation is currently hiring Registered Nurse substitutes for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must possess a valid Registered Professional Nurse license issued by New York State. Interested candidates must complete an application and attach copies of their current CPR/AED card and RN certificate.
Job Qualifications
- Current CPR/ AED training
- Current RN certificate
- Able to follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications
- Able to follow doctor's orders for student medications
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Strong work ethic
- Confidentiality
- Able to interact with students, parents, and staff
- School experience is preferred but not required
- Fingerprinting through the New York State Education Department is a requirement for working in the school district.
