What you will do
- Read construction plans / drawings and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Quantity take-offs (materials, labour, plant)
- Prepare and submit responses to Australian tenders
- Liaise with the team on pricing and scope; keep estimates organised and on time
- Proven construction estimating experience (retaining walls, civil, concreting, fencing or similar)
- Confident reading plans and doing take-offs
- Estimating / design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, Buildxact or similar)
- Familiarity with Australian tender sites (Estimate One, Australian Tenders, etc.) a plus
- Strong written English, reliable internet, able to overlap AEST hours
