What You’ll Do
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components of automation systems based on drawings, manuals, and instructions.
- Build and wire electrical panels, route and label cables, and complete detailed system integration.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure smooth operation and successful customer runoffs.
- Make necessary adjustments or modifications to parts and systems, collaborating with engineering as needed.
- Document any updates or changes to mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic drawings.
- Provide timely updates to project leads on progress and challenges.
- Ensure all parts, specifications, and documentation are in place before beginning builds.
- Safely move, position, and handle equipment using rigging and forklifts.
- Proactively solve problems and overcome obstacles during the build process.
