Overview:
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping products and materials. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
- Accurately unload, sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements.
