As a Sanitation/Quality Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and product quality. You'll oversee all aspects of quality assurance and food safety, from sanitation procedures to regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality assurance budgets and standards.
- Train and lead teams on SQF, GMPs, SOPs, and safe work practices.
- Resolve quality, safety, and sanitation issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Analyze process and quality data to improve product performance.
- Coordinate and execute audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SQF, HACCP, OSHA, FDA, EPA).
- Manage change control procedures.
- Supervise sanitation staff and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
- This is a hands-on role that may require you to lead by example—disassembling machinery, performing quality checks, and using cleaning chemicals to ensure equipment is thoroughly sanitized.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have 2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a GMP manufacturing facility
- Be experienced in supervising Quality Assurance or Sanitation staff
- Possess strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be knowledgeable of GMPs and SPC
