What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Associate position at Onin Staffing?
Overview:
- Unload and receive incoming freight, boxes, and materials from
- delivery trucks.
- Verify contents by comparing packing slips and invoices to original
- purchase orders.
- Inspect items for defects, missing parts, or shipping damage.
- Update inventory records using computer databases or radio-
- frequency (RF) scanners.
- Organize and store goods in designated warehouse or stockroom
- locations.
Skills and Experience:
Receiving, stocking, and stacking
Pulling, packing, and loading
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
Technical skills: Basic math, computer literacy, and experience
operating a forklift or pallet jack.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
2 years logistics experience preferred
Forklift Certification a plus
