Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT implements individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support skill development, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote independence in natural environments.

Position Scope

This position operates within the Clinical Services/Behavioral Health function and supports ABA service delivery across home, community, and clinic settings. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborates with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, high-quality, and person-centered care. The role focuses on direct service delivery and accurate data collection.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in team meetings, supporting training and onboarding activities, assisting with program materials, and reinforcing caregiver guidance. This role requires maintaining consistent schedules with clients and families and includes physical activity such as standing, sitting on the floor, bending, lifting, engaging in play-based interventions, and responding safely and appropriately to behavioral incidents.

Regulatory Frameworks

This role operates in compliance with the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts, HIPAA regulations, applicable state Medicaid and insurance requirements, and organizational policies governing ABA services and client care.
