Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employment Specialist located in Monroeville, PA. Some work from office some in the community. The Employment Specialist will be responsible for providing support to individuals with disabilities in finding and maintaining employment. Daily tasks include conducting interviews, providing job coaching and training, liaising with employers, and offering excellent customer service to both clients and their families. The Employment Specialist will also be engaged in recruiting and developing relationships with local businesses to create employment opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency in Interviewing techniques and Recruiting methods
- Experience in Training and job coaching
- Passion for advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Previous experience in employment services or related field is a plus
- Associates degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field is a plus
