Job Description Job Title: Medical Receptionist Location: Palm Bay, FL Overview: Our outpatient medical practice is seeking a Medical Receptionist to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver a welcoming patient experience. This role serves as the first point of contact while supporting both administrative and clinical workflows in a structured healthcare environment. Position Offers: Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends or rotating shifts Competitive pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour (DOE) 401(k) with employer support Paid holidays, PTO, and STO Healthcare benefits available Stable, team-oriented outpatient setting Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes Collect co-payments and outstanding balances Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups Verify insurance eligibility and coverage Ensure accurate patient registration and intake documentation Maintain organized front desk operations and clinic flow Communicate appointment details and updates to patients Provide administrative support to clinical staff Qualifications: 1 year of medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred Experience in primary care or internal medicine strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR systems; Athena experience a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us: Join a collaborative outpatient practice that prioritizes patient care and efficiency
