Job Description Position: Medical Assistant (MA) Location: Lakewood, CO Type: Full Time Rate: $22-$25/hour About the Role: You will support clinicians in delivering high-touch, concierge-level care by managing both clinical and administrative tasks in a low patient volume setting. This role focuses on accurate EHR documentation, efficient appointment coordination, and high-quality clinical support including injections and phlebotomy. Your ability to provide excellent customer service will be key to maintaining the practice's reputation and patient satisfaction.
Position Offers: Monday-Friday schedule No nights, no weekends Low patient volume Generous hourly rate $22-$25/hour DOE Benefits Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for visits, obtain vital signs, document histories, and accurately enter information into the electronic health record (EHR). Perform phlebotomy and collect, label, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with practice protocols. Administer injections as ordered, ensuring proper technique, documentation, and patient education.
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, and procedures to optimize provider time and patient experience. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring rooms and equipment are prepared and stocked. Manage patient communications, including phone calls, messages, and portal inquiries, providing timely, courteous responses.
Maintain exam room cleanliness, inventory of medical supplies, and adherence to infection control and safety standards. Key Requirements: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, including accurate and efficient documentation.
Skills in phlebotomy and specimen collection, including proper handling and labeling. Experience administering injections and immunizations in a clinical environment. Strong appointment scheduling and coordination skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional, patient-centered approach. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
