OneSparQ is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Oakdale, MN.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining and keeping 6 printing presses and finishing equipment operational (mix of old and new machines).
- Safety is the top priority — ensure safe operations, implement machine guarding, and evaluate employee safety suggestions for implementation.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) based on alerts from automated systems (e.g., oil changes, scheduled checks).
- Respond to equipment breakdowns across different areas of the plant and conduct necessary repairs.
- Coordinate facilities-related maintenance (e.g., HVAC issues) by contacting and guiding external vendors — more facilities support than building repair.
- Major building issues (e.g., leaky roof) are escalated to the landlord due to being in a rented space.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician
- Mechanical & Electrical aptitude
- Computer literacy
Additional Skills:
- Print machine maintenance experience
