OneSparQ is looking for Geaotechnical Engineer for a growing Engineering firm in Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities:
- Develop foundation recommendations for commercial, industrial, manufacturing, municipal, and federal projects.
- Perform and oversee geotechnical site investigations, including soil borings, field observations, and subsurface explorations.
- Review and interpret soil, rock, and groundwater data collected during field investigations.
- Prepare geotechnical engineering reports with foundation, earthwork, and site development recommendations.
- Support construction observation activities and provide geotechnical recommendations during project execution.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer
- Strong experience in preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports
- Experience supporting projects within industrial, manufacturing, commercial, warehouse, distillery, or similar markets
- Ability to interpret subsurface investigation data and develop engineering recommendations
Additional Skills:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
