Position Overview
As the Manager, Sales Development, you willlead and coacha team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR's) who play a key role in driving OneSpan's pipeline growth through inbound and outbound programs.In this role,you will oversee and lead the development, design, and implementation of the team's inbound and outbound playbook by applying proven best practices, with a target-account-based approach. You will be responsible for contributing to pipeline development,with a primary focus on creating qualified meetings for the sales team.You will align SDR goals and activities with our go-to-market plans to contribute to new logo acquisition and overall growth targets. This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams to maximize pipeline creation and reports to the Global Director, Sales Development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategize, plan, execute, manage, and optimize pipeline generation programs and activities for new business and target accounts
- Exceed global and regional business targets, including meetings, SQLs, Pipeline, and New ACV
- Assist with hiring, training and promoting a talented team of sales development representatives (SDRs)
- Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and talent development of the North America SDR team
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute campaigns/programs/tactics to engage with target accounts and personas to drive account engagements that convert to opportunities and pipeline
- Generate consistent growth in pipeline through inbound and outbound activities
- Work with the Global Director, Sales Development for accurate opportunity forecasts (monthly, quarterly) leveraging data and supporting metrics
- Provide oversight to the Sales Development team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, MBA a plus
- 4 years of experience as a sales development representative - leading both inbound and outbound pipeline generation
- 4 years of management/coaching experience
- Experience growing and scaling a successful Sales Development team
- Proven track record in establishing, achieving, or exceeding measurable goals in hyper growth SaaS businesses
- Deep understanding of outbound sales development - prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, and qualifying
- Deep understanding of demand and pipeline generation with experience in both inbound and outbound target account strategies
- Hands-on leader - working closely with the field and lead by example
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior employees and a genuine motivation to help facilitate the career growth of others both personally and professionally
- Proactive individual that is self-motivated and results-oriented with strong verbal and written communications skills
- Well versed with an SDR tech stack including SFDC
- Ability to travel as needed
