- Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by answering pharmacy phones and promptly assisting colleagues, patients, nurses, physicians, and hospice personnel.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow by maintaining high productivity levels and producing error-free work.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by keeping countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and orderly.
- Enter, access, and verify data in the pharmacy system to ensure accuracy and reliability of patient records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to overall pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician license as required by state
- Familiarity with standard pharmacy concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
- Ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and strong oral and written communication skills
- Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day
