Job Description:
As an integral part of OnePoint BFG, this role is responsible for managing and optimizing the trading activities of client accounts across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
Responsibilities:
- Trade Execution & Management: Execute buy and sell orders on behalf of clients, ensuring the best execution practices across multiple platforms and brokers. Monitor trade lifecycle from initiation through settlement.
- Account Oversight: Maintain oversight of client portfolios to ensure alignment with investment mandates, risk parameters, and compliance requirements.
- Client Support: Collaborate closely with advisors and relationship managers to fulfill client instructions and provide timely updates on trade status, execution quality, and market impact.
- Operational Coordination: Work with operations teams to resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, or settlement issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all trading activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and documentation standards. Support audits and reviews with appropriate reporting.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience with investment trading.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in math, finance, accounting or business preferred.
- Work experience in wealth management, financial planning, and investments related field.
- Familiarity with portfolio management systems and order management tools.
