Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and advance commercial growth opportunities across crude oil transportation, storage, and terminalling assets.
- Lead negotiation and execution of commercial agreements, including transportation, throughput, and terminalling contracts.
- Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure contracts comply with the applicable laws, tariffs, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain detailed economic models to evaluate commercial opportunities, capital investments, and contract terms.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and project execution teams to support commercial justification for capital projects such as expansions, interconnects, and new developments.
- Provide clear recommendations to leadership on deal economics, risk exposure, and value creation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, refiners, traders, and other midstream counterparties.
- Responsible for employee development and evaluations, establishing goals, providing counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure employees are held accountable for performing job responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in commercial development, business development, marketing, or commercial roles within the midstream, energy, or crude oil sector.
- Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English
