The Role
The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while leading a small, distributed team. This role is focused on owning the accounting function at a process and team level—driving accuracy, improving workflows, and ensuring the business can scale efficiently.
You’ll partner closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to build and refine accounting processes that align with how the business actually operates, particularly in a high-transaction environment involving large volumes of daily activity.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Oversight

Manage and develop a team of accountants (including offshore team members)

Establish clear workflows, delegation structures, and accountability

Review work, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality output
High-Volume Transaction Accounting

Oversee accounting tied to large volumes of daily transactions (sales, payments, refunds, settlements)

Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations across accounts

Monitor and improve processes around revenue recognition and cash flow tracking
Process Design & Controls

Build and refine scalable accounting processes to support rapid growth

Implement strong internal controls, audit trails, and review procedures

Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement
Systems & Data

Work within NetSuite and other systems to improve reporting and workflows

Utilize data tools (SQL is a strong plus) to validate and analyze financial data

Partner with internal teams to automate manual processes and improve accuracy
Financial Reporting

Support month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis

Partner with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial insights
