What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at ONeill Management?
O'Neill Healthcare is currently seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport residents to and from outings and appointments. This position works part time and will travel locally throughout western Cuyahoga and eastern Lorain County.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents onto and off of the bus, ensuring wheelchairs and resident belongings are properly secured before driving.
- Assist residents during the course of the outing
- Maintain journal on bus usage for billing purposes.
- Routinely inspect perimeter and inside of the van for maintenance and safety. Refer to the Preventative Maintenance list.
- Maintain log on maintenance and upkeep of the bus
- Cell phones and other electronic devices may not be used while driving the bus
- Inform the Administrator if any traffic citations are received while operating any vehicle
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others.
- Must be in good health, no lifting restrictions, neat and clean.
- Must be willing and able to learn.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet work demands.
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess and maintain an active driver’s license with a desirable driving record
- Must maintain a personal auto insurance policy
