Oneida Health is seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner (NP) with OBGYN experience to join our newborn nursery in Oneida. Our experienced team comprises three board-certified physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience and be a self-starter who can “hit the ground running.”

What You’ll be Great At:
- Assessing and establishing a presumptive diagnosis and implementing treatment plans
- Making accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing and consults as appropriate and prescribing appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidence-based practice
- Prescribing, adjusting, or discontinuing medications or therapies as appropriate
- Evaluating and reporting to the physician any circumstances or test results that present a significant risk to the patient's health or well-being
- Performing procedures within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner license
- Communicating appropriate information to physicians, patients, PCP, and referring staff
- Instilling confidence in patients by acting as their advocate by providing safe, ethical care and health education to the patient and family

Your Essential Qualifications:

Salary : $98,500 - $139,900
