LPN - Women's Health

Oneida Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Women's Health office located in Oneida. The LPN in the Practice Setting is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while providing patients with exceptional care.

What You’ll be Great At:

• Preparing patients for appointments with physicians including gathering and recording vital signs and medical history.
• Scheduling appointments for patients.
• Coordinating with after-hours care and inputting information in the patient records and following up.
• Providing clinical advice to patients over the phone or by messaging.
• Assisting providers with appointments and examinations.
• Using a customer service attitude to attend to the needs of patients.
• Following procedure for authorized medication administration and documentation.
• Performing treatments as directed including administering injectables.
• Managing clinic flow and ensuring patients are seen in an orderly manner.
• Maintaining patient records with superb attention to detail.
• Performing equipment checks and stocking supplies.
• Executing physician orders, scheduling follow-up appointments, and facilitating referrals.
• Communicating and collaborating with other members of the clinical team.
• Performing receptionist duties as needed.
