Oneida Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our ED. In this role, the Licensed Practical Nurse will provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team, ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and treatment to patients with a customer service attitude.
- Collect and record patient data with keen observation.
- Seek assistance from RN when needed in patient care.
- Work efficiently, demonstrating a proactive approach to unit situations.
- Address the needs of patients, family members, co-workers, and the department.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, following infection prevention techniques according to hospital standards.
Education:
- Associate Degree (Preferred).
License and Certifications:
- New York LPN (Required).
- BLS/CPR (Preferred).
