Job Description
The EX Business Partner is a strategic HR professional who builds trusted partnerships across One10 to deliver strong employee experiences and business outcomes. This role serves as an advisor to leaders, providing expertise across all areas of Human Resources while aligning people strategies with organizational goals.
Hands-on and solutions-oriented, the EX Business Partner leverages business acumen, data insights, and proactive problem-solving to address complex people challenges, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support a high-performing workforce.
Scope of Work
- Act as a subject matter expertise and partner in all areas of human resources
- Proactively provide foundational HR support to managers and employees of all levels
- Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of people issues, works to resolve employee relations issues with a holistic approach
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning by assessing talent needs, identifying gaps, and developing aligned staffing strategies
- Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, inform decisions, and recommend actionable people solutions
- Align talent strategies with business objectives through succession planning, organizational design, and development initiatives
- Supports performance management and compensation processes for assigned areas
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to people managers (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Partners with members of the EX team in managing projects, improving human resources processes and programs internally throughout the organization
- Provides guidance in the interpretation and execution of HR policies and various employment laws
- Identify and flag areas of development for managers and individual contributors on their teams and propose related people solutions
- Works collaboratively with the appropriate internal areas to execute flawlessly
- Create and educate employees on policies and updated procedures
- Follow up with EX team and employees on any open items in order to solve issues and provide excellent service
- Provide timely, accurate, clear, professional, and thorough written and verbal communication
- Execute on deliverables in a timely and organized manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent years of experience in a Human Resources position
- 2-5 years of HR Business Partner experience
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including, employee relations, recruiting, talent management, and federal and state employment laws
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships
- Ability to quickly develop strong trusting relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple conflicting priorities
- Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
- Self-directed and motivated; takes initiative and owns their area of the business
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Workday HCM experience preferred
