Job Summary
One You Love Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable male caregiver to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care services for a male client in the Lakeland area.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others maintain their independence while providing care with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Pay
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
- Part-time
- Flexible scheduling
- Day, evening, weekend, and overnight opportunities may become available
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and clock in/out using our electronic visit verification (EVV) system
- Provide safe transportation for errands or appointments when applicable
Qualifications
- Current HHA or CNA certification preferred
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance (if transporting clients)
- Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 Background Screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
