Housekeeper - Glen Oaks Community (One Vision) 📍 Location: Clear Lake, IA 🕒 Part-Time | 3 days per week (Some evenings/weekends required) 💼 Department: Housing - Glen Oaks
About the Role: One Vision is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and safety in the Glen Oaks Community. You'll play an essential role in ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests in both common areas and residential units. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all common areas, including bathrooms, community rooms, laundry/craft rooms, and spa rooms
- Prepare apartments and townhomes for new residents by deep-cleaning interiors
- Launder and restock linens in the Guest Suite and Community Room
- Clean kitchen appliances, glass surfaces, windows, and more
- Use and handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Assist with walk-in inquiries when the manager is unavailable
- Report on maintenance issues and unsafe conditions promptly
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (experience in senior living a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends
