Location: Garner, IA
Home Office: This position is based out of our Clear Lake office and provides leadership and support to residential services throughout the Garner, Iowa area.

What You'll Do
As a Team Lead, you'll provide day-to-day leadership for a team of Direct Support Professionals while ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive exceptional, person-centered support. Your days will include:
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Direct Support Professionals
- Providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback
- Assisting individuals with daily living activities, including cooking, hygiene, laundry, medications, and community involvement
- Supporting individuals with budgeting, personal finances, and independent living skills
- Monitoring documentation and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment for both employees and the individuals we support
- Collaborating with leadership to improve services and daily operations
- Participating in an on-call rotation and supporting staffing needs as necessary

Qualifications
Option 1
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
OR
Option 2
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
Additional qualifications:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Medication Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain within six months
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with physical support as needed
- Must pass required background checks, drug screening, and health screenings
- Completion of required certifications, including Mandt Training
