Position Title: Peer Support Specialist
Location: Bridgeville, DE
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Schedule: Day shift | Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: $22 - 25/hr. (Depends on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Provide ongoing one-on-one peer support and guidance to individuals with mental health or substance use challenges
Assist clients with treatment needs, case management activities, and connection to appropriate services
Coordinate community resources, including behavioral health programs, social services, and support networks
Encourage client motivation, engagement, and progress through lived experience and recovery-based support
Communicate effectively with law enforcement personnel and behavioral health teams
Requirements
At least 3 years of Peer Support experience required
Experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery required
Active Peer Support Specialist certification preferred
High school diploma or GED
Salary : $22 - $25
