What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Associate position at One Ten Associates?
One Ten Associates is partnering with a Global Hedge Fund that is looking to hire a Compliance Associate to join their New York office.
Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer, this will be a broad, generalised compliance role with some exposure across legal tasks. As well as working on US compliance matters, you'll support the wider team in overseeing and implementing the global compliance programme.
The role will be broad in nature, duties including:
- Conduct compliance monitoring and surveillance activities
- Providing real time compliance advice
- Work with the global compliance team to oversee and carry out the global compliance programme
- Carry out day-to-day core compliance tasks, including PA Dealing, Regulatory Reporting/Filings, Conflicts, etc...
- Review and update NDA's, as well as other basic legal contracts/documentation
The ideal candidate will have circa 2-5 years compliance & legal experience, having worked for a Hedge Fund or similar asset manager in the US. You will ideally have some legal contract/documentation experience in addition to generalised compliance experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
