Job Description One Tech Engineering is searching for a Structural Engineer for a position located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Structural Engineer will support multi-year hydroelectric facility projects, including dam reconstruction and upgrades. The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card.
The candidate should have 5-7 years of structural engineering experience. Structural Engineer Responsibilities: Lead and oversee heavy structural steel and reinforced concrete work, including staged in-water installations. Coordinate with and ensure compliance on projects regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Serve as the on-site technical liaison, resolving field issues and ensuring construction quality and adherence to design specifications. Requirements of the Structural Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field. 5-7 years of structural engineering experience.
Strong experience in heavy structural engineering, including concrete and steel design and construction. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with extensive experience using SharePoint. Ability to open and review native CAD files (MicroStation preferred).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Previous experience working with hydroelectric facilities, dams, or in-water construction projects. Experience with FERC-regulated projects preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (FE) certification is a plus.
Salary : $136,000 - $145,000
