Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service. The Pool Technician will perform routine pool maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to uphold the highest standards of pool safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and chemical balancing to maintain optimal water quality.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues.
- Be part of exterior service team and assist in completing home maintenance requirements which include landscaping, windows, bbq grills, and solar panels.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with specialists for complex issues.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized following safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining maintenance procedures and addressing client concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment required for pool servicing.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
