Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners during their formative years. In this vital role, you will design engaging curriculum tailored to toddlers’ developmental needs, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and lead a team of early childhood educators. Your expertise will help cultivate curiosity, support individual growth, and promote a love for learning in children at the toddler stage. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards and incorporates Montessori, literacy education, math, physical education, and library services.
  • Lead classroom management efforts to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment conducive to toddler development and learning.
  • Mentor and supervise teaching staff, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom strategies, conflict management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Utilize learning technology and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to track student progress, analyze performance data, and adapt instructional approaches accordingly.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones through regular updates and academic advising.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and policies while maintaining high standards for childcare quality and safety.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis for student progress evaluation using data-driven methods such as multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) to identify areas for intervention or enrichment.
  • Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or unique learning needs to promote inclusive classroom practices.
  • Design instructional activities that foster literacy skills, early math concepts, social-emotional development, physical activity, and library engagement.

Experience

  • Proven teaching experience working with young children in preschool or toddler care settings.
  • Strong background in early childhood education principles including childhood development theories such as Montessori or other progressive approaches.
  • Experience developing curriculum plans that incorporate instructional design principles tailored for toddlers’ cognitive and emotional growth.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among young learners.
  • Knowledge of educational compliance standards, regulation understanding, and best practices in childcare environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data effectively to inform instruction and support individual learning pathways.
  • Prior experience working with children with disabilities or special needs using multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with families, colleagues, and community resources to enhance the educational experience for every child.
