Lead Toddler Teacher

Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Toddler Teacher to join our team. Must love making new friends, smiling a lot, and going home happily exhausted because you just had The Best Day EVER!!! RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving, toddler classroom at a highly regarded educational child care center.
• Care for each child individually, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Follow care routines set forth by parents.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with parents, co-workers, and management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
• Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center preferred.
• Experience using Teaching Strategies Gold and Tadpoles a plus.
• Able to furnish required clearances.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sense of humor encouraged.
