PreK Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children in our preschool program. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, including preschool and toddler care.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
• Monitor and support children's behavior management, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support individual needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with children with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness.
• Manage classroom routines effectively, including diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or behavior management is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
• Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and nurturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Passion for caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or working in daycare environments demonstrating patience and enthusiasm for child development. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
