What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher/Driver position at Lil One’s Daycare?
We are currently hiring for both teachers and bus drivers for our preschool in north Houston. Both full & part-time positions are available. Potential hires may also be cross trained to do both positions if desired. Hours will be vary as we are open Monday - Friday from 5am to 8pm. We are closed on all major Holidays.
Requirements:
- All employees Must be able to pass a background check
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be at least 18 if applying for a teaching position, and 21 if applying for a driving position.
- For teachers: Childcare experience would be preferred, but not necessary. We provide a full training to all employee. Must also be flexible, patient, and love working with children.
-For drivers: Drivers must know how to drive a standard sized van. You must also be a safe driver and be able to complete a transportation safety course. You will have to clean and maintain the vehicle before and after pickup/drop off of the children. And Most importantly, you must ensure the safety and accountability of all children before/during/after transportation.
