Art Teacher - Digital Art - Part timeOne River School of Art Design — Larchmont, NYJoin a workplace that invests in you and connects you to a creative community.Join One River School of Art Design to teach and mentor motivated students, work alongside practicing artists in a creative community, and grow with a team that invests in your development—from day one.What you’ll do:Teach Digital Design Classes: Teach weekly art and / or digital art classes from 3pm to 7pm during the week and during the day on Saturdays for a variety of ages Ensure Student Success: Ensure student success in the studio and lab by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growthProvide Hospitality Service & Communication: Conduct proactive check-ins with parents, students and families, support makeup scheduling, discuss student progress and opportunities for growth, upsells to additional classes / camps.Implement One River Methodology Curriculum: Ensure teachers have lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularlyRun a best-in-class studio: Maintain the digital lab, Clean and organize studio spaces and student artwork and oversee digital lab maintenanceRequirements:BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master’s a plus) or equivalent professional experience3 years experience teaching visual arts for K–12 and/or adults.
