WE are hiring for Mobile Response/Community Stabilization and Mental Health Skill Building Workers.
Crisis Services is geared to help stabilize clients at risk of hospitalization, at risk of losing housing or is displaced, and have dire need for psychiatric needs. These position involves the provision of an array of training, support, and IADL’s services with a minimum amount of psycho-educational interventions provided within the community setting to stabilize client's mental health.
Mental Health Skill Building aids the clients in learning behavioral management and coping skills, ADLs and social skills to become functional in day to day living. Assisting with coordinating, scheduling and attending medical and mental health appointments is essential for health and wellness.
Professionals are responsible for all client related documentation and reports as well as the development and implementation of treatment goals and objectives. On a monthly basis, 90-95% of the services provided are to be in the form of direct involvement and training with client. Remaining hours will consist of conducting service coordination and administrative duties. Position reports directly to Program Director/Clinician.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
Applicant has to be a QMHP-A with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, that includes at least 15 semester credits in a human services field. Is currently registered with the Board of Counseling. In addition, who has at least three years’ successful clinical work experience providing direct services to individuals with a mental illness. Timely documentation and communication is a must.
