Duties
- Operate pressing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to press a variety of garments, including suits, dresses, shirts, and delicate fabrics
- Inspect garments for wrinkles, stains, or defects before pressing and notify supervisors of any issues
- Follow specific pressing instructions provided by customers or supervisors to ensure proper care of each item
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to promote safety and efficiency
- Handle garments with care to prevent damage during the pressing process
- Assist with folding, packaging, or preparing garments for pickup or delivery as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards throughout the pressing process
Qualifications
- Prior experience in garment pressing or dry cleaning preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of garment care instructions is a plus but not mandatory
