$90 per tour cash tips
Part-time (2-6 tours/month), tours run 11am–1:45pm Wed-Sun
Secret Solvang is a daytime walking food, wine & history tour through the hidden tastes, quirky stories, and charming corners of California’s Danish village. We partner with the best local wine bars, bakeries, and restaurants to treat guests to delicious bites while sharing curious bits of history and culture.
We’re looking for a people-person with hospitality chops, a flair for storytelling, and a love of food and wine to join our guide team.
You might be a great fit if:
- You’ve worked in hospitality, food, or wine (or you’re just obsessed with it)
- You’re a natural storyteller and love connecting with a group
- You can memorize info and deliver it like it’s off the cuff
- You’re reliable, friendly, and cool under pressure
- You know Solvang (or you’re excited to get to know it deeply)
What you’ll do:
- Lead 2.5-hour food and wine tours in Solvang (6 delicious stops!)
- Learn and deliver stories in a way that feels natural and fun
- Keep things running smoothly and on time—even when the tasting rooms get rowdy
- Make guests feel like they’re hanging with a local friend who knows all the hidden gems
- Represent Secret Solvang with warmth, humor, and professionalism
