Role Description The Sales Representative is a full-time comission based job-site role based in Ridgewood, NJ. This position is responsible for generating new business, following up on leads, and meeting with potential clients to understand their remodeling and construction needs. Day-to-day activities include conducting in-person and phone consultations, preparing and presenting quotes, and clearly explaining project scopes, timelines, and costs. The Sales Representative will collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate information is communicated to clients and will maintain ongoing relationships to support repeat and referral business. This role also involves maintaining detailed records in the sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, and representing One Horizon Homes in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in client relationship building, consultative selling, and follow-up for residential remodeling or construction services.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts, project details, and pricing to clients in a straightforward, customer-friendly way.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, appointments, and project inquiries simultaneously.
- Comfort working on-site and in the field, including visiting homes, assessing project needs, and coordinating with project teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor in all client interactions.
- Basic proficiency with office and CRM software to track leads, prepare quotes, and maintain sales records.
