Audit Manager – Commercial & Nonprofit

💰 $120,000 – $145,000
I’m working confidentially with a well-established local CPA firm in New Hampshire that is looking to add an Audit Manager to their growing assurance team.
The firm has built a strong reputation in the region through long-standing client relationships and consistent delivery of high-quality audit and advisory services across both commercial and nonprofit sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations, while playing a key role in leading engagements and developing staff.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and leading audit engagements for commercial and nonprofit clients
• Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
• Overseeing engagement planning, risk assessment, and execution
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building strong relationships
• Mentoring and developing junior staff and seniors
• Supporting partners with practice development and complex technical matters
What they’re looking for:
• 5–8 years of public accounting audit experience
• Strong experience with commercial and/or nonprofit clients
• Proven ability to manage engagements and lead teams
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills
• CPA required
