We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our growing gastroenterology team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with experienced physicians to provide high-quality care to patients in the clinic setting.

Snapshot of Daily Duties:
Patient Care & Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage new patient consults and follow-up visits
- Provide routine and urgent follow-up care in the clinic
- Communicate patient care plans, visit notes, and results with supervising physicians
Procedures & Clinical Services
- G-tube changes
- Hemorrhoid banding (training provided)
- Medication administration and injections
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests and diagnostic procedures
Patient Education & Care Coordination
- Perform comprehensive physical exams and document findings
- Educate patients about conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Provide guidance on health maintenance and illness prevention
- Connect patients with community resources when appropriate
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide telephone triage and consultation for patient concerns
The Must Haves:
- Registered Nursing license as well as degree level required by each state to obtain NP license.
- Graduate of an accredited program and board certified with prescriptive authority.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must, knowledge of billing services is required, understands the various responsibilities physician/NP/Patient relationship.
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with certification by a national Nurse Practitioner certification board.
- Three (3) years professional nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting. GI experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
