This role is ideal for an experienced RN who enjoys infusion nursing and coordinating care—but wants consistency, autonomy, and no rotating shifts.
Position Summary
The RN Infusion Nurse & Coordinator provides high-quality infusion nursing care while coordinating infusion scheduling, patient communication, and clinical workflows. This position combines direct patient care with care coordination, offering variety without sacrificing schedule stability.

Snapshot of Daily Duties:
- Infusion RN will place IV’s.
- Administer IV medication, and fluids as ordered.
- Monitor patients’ IV medications and tubing.
- Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as ordered.
- Perform phlebotomy as needed, or as prescribed/ordered.
- Monitor patients during infusion and discharge patients as policies indicate.
- Provide patient education and instruction.
- Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.
- Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.
Education and Qualifications:
- Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
- Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.
- Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.
