What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef de Cuisine position at One Forty Grill?
One Forty Grill will specialize in modern American cuisine paired with an elevated, comfortable atmosphere. 140 Grill is the newest concept being developed by the family that brought Hamilton’s to the Auburn Community over 20 years ago.
Our menu will be built with timeless classic as well as New American fusion to create an amazing new restaurant experience in downtown Auburn. Our brand new, open kitchen will be the heart and soul of the dining room. We are looking for an applicant that does not mind working and operating within the customers field of view. The mechanics of the restaurants service are part of the experience we want to provide to the customer.
We are looking to fill the role of Chef de Cuisine for One Forty Grill. The applicant must have a detail oriented work ethic as well as premier organizational skills. With this being a new restaurant many of the features of the service will need to developed. The applicant must have a comprehensive understanding of kitchen management, labor management, inventory management as well as basic hospitality skills.
Chef/Kitchen Management experience is mandatory for our applicant.
Working as our Chef de Cuisine, you are responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for the dining service. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee all safety and sanitation for the restaurant.
