We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grant Manager to join our grants team. The successful candidate will manage and implement the full lifecycle of grant activities, from assessing the requirements and suitability of available grants, writing and submitting grants to project implementation, completion and reporting. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and maintaining quality standards. Adept at balancing competing demands and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time and qualifies for hybrid-remote work after an in-office training period. Required onsite workdays will be at our clinic in Hood River, Oregon.

Position Overview

Research and Strategy

Research and identify suitable funding opportunities.

Seek funding opportunities in-line with organizations’ strategic plan and identified needs.

Grant Proposal Development

Work with external and internal stakeholders to define the response to the funding opportunity.

Ensure the grant can be implemented by the organization/collaborative network and deliverables met.

Develop and submit grant proposals that meet the requirements of the Request For Grant Application (RFGA)

Project Planning And Implementation

Identify key partners for each project/grant.

Host stakeholder kickoff meeting.

Create detailed project plans and timelines.

Coordinate activities and resources for project success.

Grant Compliance And Reporting

Ensure compliance with grant agreements and regulations.

Prepare and submit progress and financial reports.

Maintain comprehensive records of grant activities.

Work with the finance team to monitor grant expenses, spend-rate and budget forecast.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Maintain positive relationships with funders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).

A minimum of 3 years of grant or project management experience, within the past 10 years.

Proven success in securing and managing grants.

Strong understanding of grant regulations and compliance.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualification

Project Management Professional certification (PMP)

Experience in healthcare setting (FQHC).

Experience with grant management software.

Familiarity with HRSA, SAMHSA, CDC, or other federal grant mechanisms.
