One Acadiana is seeking a motivated college student for Intern position. This role offers a unique, "behind-the-scenes" look at how regional economic development organization functions. You will work directly under the CFO, providing high-level support across finance, economic development, human resources, and general organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will assist the CFO with the following departmental functions:
- General Ledger Support: Assist the CFAO with daily bookkeeping services for One Acadiana and its partner organizations.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Help process invoices, track receipts, and ensure all financial documentation is accurately prepared for review.
- Expense Tracking: Assist in reconciling departmental credit card statements and employee reimbursement requests.
- Audit Prep: Help organize physical and digital records to ensure they are ready for the annual third-party audit and tax filings.
- Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting systems while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Meeting Prep: Assist in the preparation of materials for Board of Directors and Executive Committee meetings.
- Special Projects: Carry out targeted administrative activities as assigned by the CFAO or CEO during periods of high urgency.
- Event Participation: Attend and participate in staff meetings and One Acadiana-sponsored events.
